Oh, and did I forget to mention, I also love baking. Especially decorative cookies and cupcakes. The one's in the round tray are mini-cupcakes. Very handy for those of us on a diet, or for little people who can't finish a big cupcake. After all, don't they just eat the icing most of the time anyway?! I have a really nice recipe book with all kinds of cupcake recipes so when I have time I try something different then just a cake mix. The spring cookie cutters come from SuperStore. I've bought most of my seasonal cookie cutters there as they always have a good selection of seasonal items. There are also a lot more choices in food colouring now. If I need any special decorting items such as silver sprinkles and such, I go to the Dickens Store. Micheals also has a good selection of baking supplies.

Angelina Ballerina

Okay, so this is a bit different. A few days ago one of my little girl's fell and hurt herself, so to cheer her up I made this little tutu for her mouse. I bought this mouse last year at Ikea, and because it looks so much like Angelina Ballerina, my daughter gave her that name. I didn't have a pattern, but I just kind of went round and round, and added and subtracted as needed. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but a 5 year old thankfully doesn't care about the little details. I also made her a lady bug tutu, but I haven't had a chance to take a picture of that one yet, so I'll post those in a few days!
